Craft Room Flooring--HELP!

I don't know if anyone even looks at this, but if you are, I could use some input. What type of flooring would you put in a craft room? I like sewing, scrapbooking, card making, and painting. The room is in a basement, so it will probably get cold. My choices so far are leave the cement floor and paint that, laminate flooring, short carpet, or tile, or something else that I haven't thought of yet. Which would you choose? Oh, and we are moving in this weekend, so if you could let me know your thoughts SOON, that would be great!

I haven't had the opportunity to have a craft room...but if I was in your place I'd probably go with industrial carpet or paint the cement and use a rug that you can roll up for messy projects. The trouble is basements are usually cold. I find I won't work in the basement during the winter because its too cold for me. Good luck with what you decide!

I think I would put in something easy to clean up. I hate having carpeting in mine
